The Last Year!
Time for full-time independent learning! This year I covered my math (AP Calc), science (AP Bio), social science (Political Science), and language (French IV) standards through Pilot, with only one conventional class (AP-level World Authors).
I've gotten pretty good at learning, but it hasn't always been easy. Trying to meet AP standards and apply to colleges really turned this year into more of a grind than I would have liked. It worked—I'm headed to Princeton, I've gained rock-solid understanding of my chosen fields, and I've discovered even more learning strategies—but as the year closes out, I hope I can spend more time in exploration and play. And I hope I can give the next generation of Pilot students some help with that, as I work on a guidebook for independent academic studies.
